Moving on to the Dark Side

    By bigpumpkin | July 31, 2007

My first credit card transaction just happened. Oh My God. Talk about revelations. I bought a domain name. Unfortunately all the forms of pumpkin (bigpumpkin, pinkpumpkin etc) have been taken so I’ve settled for www.mamapumpkin.com It’s not up yet but IT IS MINE!!!

The next challenge is of course, moving this blog and starting fresh - FRESH new design. I went through 700 wordpress designs yesterday and none fit perfectly. I couldn’t believe it. I sure hope these web designers can customise the designs to what I want because it feels a bit spastic bloging on a blog that’s not quite you. Know what I mean?

Big challenges ahead for a none IT expert, blogger wannabe!

No different from having a baby - sleepless nights.

mamapumpkin.com has a nice ring to it &
it’s going to be just GREAT! Woo hoo!!!

Glad you think so - my brother (he copywriter, mah!) and I went through SO many names and we kept disagreeing about bloody pumpkin names! Sheesh…

So do you hv to lift your finger to do the migration?

Pls do let me know if this hostgator is good. If i dont hv to do much on the migration, i might consider them.

I am still working things out with Hostgator. They keep emailing me with IT jargon but I don’t understand a word they are saying so till it gets all worked out, then only will I recommend you to them. OK?
