Menopause - the musical/play
By bigpumpkin | July 24, 2007
When I got the email about the the above hit comedy, I instinctively told myself that it’d be nice to watch it with my Mom, since she had been having some dramas with real-life menopause of late, till I saw the prices.
RM150 to RM300. (mind you, there are actually tickets costing less than RM100 - not highlighted in the email)
I dropped the idea instantly.
Last Sunday, whilst loitering in a mall as a family, SHE noticed the billboard and suggested we go watch it. Which is when I admitted to her that I ‘thoughtfully‘ thought about taking her but the piggy from the bank refuse to warrant such an expenditure.
Now, my entire family is off to have a good laugh this Wednesday. Such is the generous heart of my mother.
Oh, and the Hubs is supposed to go for drinks that evening. Oops. Well, I suppose he can drink with Tee in the safe confines of our cosy little home :-)
