The new Labour party head in England - Gordon Brown

Whilst watching CNN this evening with the Hubs, I missed the above announcement when the Hubs asked if I knew him. Just because I spent a good 7 years in the United of Kingdom and love it doesn’t mean I automatically know who Gordon Brown is. And could the name be more English???
“So he’s gonna be the new Prime Minister after Tony Blair? I asked the Hubs innocently.
Is he good looking?”
Well, you know, after you become a Mummy, these things matter. Especially if it’s for such an important post like PM of Britain.
You should have seen the glare from the Hubs. It was a what in the world did I marry kind of glare.
“What??! It’s important that he’s good looking what!” I defended myself.
He glared harder. Then turned back to the telly without uttering a single word.
