    Saturday, June 30th, 2007

I just clicked away without instructions.
Do you think I will have potential problems with this little vain pot at puberty?

    Can you guess Tee’s drawings?

    Saturday, June 30th, 2007

This one’s pretty straightforward. It is a sun sleeping on his bed. Not her bed. HIS bed. With his eyes open.
    .
    .
    .
    .

This one’s a bit more abstract. It is a dog wearing socks. What?! I said it looked like SpongeBob!!!
Tee got offended, “NO!! That is the dog’s fur!!! Not his hands and legs!!”
    “How come his sock […]

Saturday Morning at the Lee Household

    Saturday, June 30th, 2007

We went to renew our driver’s license this morning at the Post Office at Pusat Bandar Damansara. Clever Hubs selectively picked that post office because he knew it would be empty on a Saturday morning. We arrived at about 10.30am and it really WAS empty. So that took us 5 minutes. Paid RM304 for 2 […]

    Saturday, June 30th, 2007

    cont’d from here…..
FACT 5 - I used to be a backup dancer for RTM and did 3 advertisements in my lifetime.
When I was 16, I had to work as a back up dancer in order to earn some extra pocket money. My Dad would send me and pick me up from rehearsals, where I got […]

Every foreigner I’ve had conversation with about KL has never failed to bring up our problem with signage. In case you haven’t had the good fortune to visit KL, the land of the second tallest tower in the world, driving in KL is an adventure not to be missed.
If you ever wanted to get from A […]

TAG: 8 Random Facts About The Big Pumpkin

    Friday, June 29th, 2007

Little Cairo’s Mommy gave me some homework to mull over this week and since this is easier homework to do than Shireen’s Disease Tag, I will attempt this first. Mark fairly OK, teachers?!
    First, the rules in class:

I have to post these rules before I give you the facts.

Each player starts with eight random facts/habits about […]

    Gordon Brown’s Speech on CNN

    Thursday, June 28th, 2007

So now that I know who he is……
The Hubs and I were watching him with his wife beside him, giving a speech in front of 10, Downing Street.
“His wife is quite classy….she looks young, no?”
    No response.
    “Why aren’t they holding hands?”
He gives me that look of death again. “He’s giving a speech, for God’s sake.” and turns […]

Toddler dental visits - A Motherhood challenge

    Thursday, June 28th, 2007

I started taking Tee to the dentist since she was 6 months old just to familiarise her with the dental chair and it’s surroundings. Even then, she already had quite a few teeth. Now, I take her every 6 months, just in case. She has absolutely no fear visiting the Dentist and in fact, loves the […]

    My daughter, the great saleswoman….

    Wednesday, June 27th, 2007

I have been told by previous clients that I am a really good sales person (aka good crook). They’d make me offer after offer to pull me over but I was never driven by dollar signs alone. *smack head, silly woman!*
Having a talent for selling, I believe that once you can sell, you can sell anything. It is […]

We’re experts here in the game.
Oh, how di…di….diiiiiiiifff……icultttt it is to be with a toddler when you have the flu……
To clean that bum when you’d rather be sleeping.
To bathe the naked teletubby when you’d rather be sleeping.
To cook not just nutritious chicken pumpkin (and coriander, onions, potato, ginger) soup and grilled fish and egg for meals, but […]

The new Labour party head in England - Gordon Brown

    Monday, June 25th, 2007

Whilst watching CNN this evening with the Hubs, I missed the above announcement when the Hubs asked if I knew him. Just because I spent a good 7 years in the United of Kingdom and love it doesn’t mean I automatically know who Gordon Brown is. And could the name be more English???
    “So he’s gonna be […]

My 7 Vanity Sense Facts - How Vain Are You? A Woman’s Post

    Sunday, June 24th, 2007

I got tagged again! by Health Freak Mommy to do this test, but before even doing the test, I knew it was going to be a less than 50% score and sure enough, I scored a timid 23%. My Mother. will. not. be. proud. She is always nagging me (despite how proud she is of […]

Hong Kong Disneyland Part 2 - The Welcome Parade!

    Sunday, June 24th, 2007

My little girl watches in fascination despite being rudely awakened by loud, blasting, hip-hop music.

…..just to give you a taste of the Disneyland parade. Atmosphere was superb. Music was brilliant. Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Ariel, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Alice and all their buddies, were jiving to the groove. It was great.
