    Poking little orifices

    By bigpumpkin | May 23, 2007

If you didn’t already know, Tee and I and the Hubs have been taking turns getting sick. It first started when Tee brought home a bug from school 2-3 weeks ago. Then we got better, then she went back to school, and we got ill again. And the whole cycle just repeated itself every week. Now I have contracted a chest infection and her nostrils are still coloured with green snort.

During lunch today, I left her on her high chair with some tomato capellini and a fork because she likes twirling her own pasta. I went back into the kitchen to chop some vegetables up for dinner. Chicken soup tonight for us sick souls……

Periodically, I would pop my head out of the kitchen to check that she hasn’t made her pasta bowl a hat or wear spaghetti necklaces. But who am I kidding, right?

Because the second time I popped my head out, she had her fork poked up her nostrils.

    “Why, God? WHY???”
